Benardine Chidi Agbaso

Agbaso Chidi Benardine, Ph.D., is a native of UmuofekeUmunomo, Ehime Mbano local government area of Imo state, Nigeria. He attended Union Primary School, UmuofekeUmunomo, and Uboma Secondary School, Ikperejere-Etiti, where he earned his WAEC in 1982.

In 1988, in order to serve his country, he enlisted in the Nigerian Navy. During his military service, he advanced in his academic pursuits, earning a BSc in Geography & Regional Planning in 1997 and an MSc in Environmental Resources Management in 2005.

 After sixteen years of meritorious service in the Nigerian Navy, he retired in 2004. 

Due to his dedication to academics, in January 2020, he received his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Geography and Regional Planning from Delta State University, Abraka.

Presently, he serves as a safety consultant and has participated in numerous trainings and courses on HSE management and practices.

He is happily married and blessed with three children; two boys and a girl.
